To invade someone's personal space is hard. We try to approach people as people, not as photographers subjects. When people see the lights, the cameras and all the other gear they often get protective. It's really an art of breaking down boundaries. Or maybe about respecting them. We're not sure actually.

The art of black & white portraiture is ancient, it's a delicate artform that we have much respect for. However we try to push it a little every time and it's a real challenge as the legacy of this kind of photography is so rich. But we try.

Bands rock. They are a constant inspiration for work. In this gallery we have a lot of bands that we had great fun working with and have given us inspiration to push the envelope and go further with our own work.

It's always great to work with fashion. The creativity in the fashion world is a never ending source for inspiration and growth. We love fashion and some of the designers and models that are in these pictures are friends that we regard highly. Thank you!

This gallery consists of commercial work for various clients. From local businesses to international brands. We love commercial photography, creating the right mood, the ambience, the tone that will serve the client just right. It's hard, but we like it.

These are strange times, everyone is thinking, plotting, scheming, trying to figure it all out. The portraits in this gallery are of various people from our world of work and play that are all doing just that: Thinking.

There was this bar. It was dark. Lots of people. Music, fun, joy, respect, love ... don't remember. Then the day after, hangovers. Then later, all these pictures. This gallery is pictures from our book "Barflies" published by powerHouse Books in 2008. The pictures however were shot in 1994.

What can we say? It's a study in beauty. Most of the models in this gallery are our friends and they were all amazing. It takes balls to pose naked for a book you know is going to end up on your aunts coffee table. This gallery contains images from our book Boys and Girls that came out in 1995.
